For New Year’s Eve 2024, VANDAL partnered with the City of Sydney to create a groundbreaking visual experience projected onto the iconic pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

This five-hour spectacle culminated in a 12-minute midnight sequence featuring The Woman of the Water, a mesmerising, shape-shifting figure embodying the waters around Sydney Harbour itself.

Blending human dance with cutting-edge generative AI, the project reimagined movement through ocean-inspired textures and forms, celebrating the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. The innovative visuals, choreographed to a stunning score by Luna Pan, captivated millions globally and showcased a big leap in generative technology on an unprecedented scale.
